For the last several years our work has increasingly involved schemes, to enable the disabled in our communities to gain access via the design and construction of ramps, with correct falls in all materials and hand rail systems to Council buildings, Schools, Universities, Youth Clubs, Libraries, Hospitals and Churches, all in line with DDA legislation, also the construction of flights of steps with hazard warning paving, the construction of footpaths with drop kerb details and directional paving. The construction of car parks with disabled friendly access to and from vehicles. Most of this work has been carried out for local Councils. |

| We fully understand the needs of the disabled, and that the definition of a disabled person used in the DDA legislation covers a wide range of people, where at first sight a person with a disability is not obvious. The blind and partially sighted, deaf or hearing impaired, people with mental health or learning disabilities, long term or progressive health conditions all come under the umbrella of DDA legislation, this makes 10 million disabled people in the UK, each with the right to access services and buildings as would an able bodied person. We find this field of work very rewarding and complete such works to a very high standard. |
